One of the last vineyards on the Northern tip of the Naramata Bench this vineyard looks south, gently sloping over gravelly clay towards it’s brilliant view of Okanagan Lake and Penticton beyond. Tended by 3rd generation Naramata farmer Bob Hancock,
this 21B Riesling is not grafted on rootstock, sending it’s own roots deep into the soil.
This wine comes from the final year of farming for Bob and he is going out with a bang. A limey spine lies under fresh ripe apple and Asian pear with juicy apricot and a nearly dry finish. A wonderful celebration of a pillar of the Naramata community.
Thank you Bob and enjoy your retirement.
